The District 6 Back-Up Book – Chords to Accompany Old Time Fiddle Tunes

The Back-up book was developed by members of District 6 and is now in it’s 6th printing.  The chords are for Old Time Fiddle Tunes as commonly played here in Northern California at Fiddle Jams and Contests.  This new revised version (6th Edition) includes some new songs and a bold, easy to read type face.   A lot of folks set them on the floor and can play reading the chords while standing up.

The new “Revised 5th Edition” has an alphabetized index and a new Spiral Binding that makes it virtually impossible for pages to drop out, and it lays completely flat.  The pages are printed on a white 67# Bristol matte finish and they turn quickly with the new continuous spiral binding.

A favorite feature for many is the Guitar Chord Chart at the back of the book with basic Back-up guitar chords plus blank grids to add your own version of chord fingerings if you like.  We also have some blank pages at the end of the tune chord section so you can write in songs we didn’t include.

The pages are 5.5″ tall by 3.6″ wide and the overall size including the binding is 5.5″ x 4.25″ , which fits nicely into many instrument case storage compartments.
